TORONTO - For the second time in three seasons, Kiana Huggins (London) of St. Clair College is the 2025-26 Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Women's Volleyball Player of the Year.
The fifth-year outside hitter is the West Division Scoring Champion averaging 4.6 points per set in 15 regular season matches, helping guide the Saints to a West Division championship. Huggins is also the division co-leader averaging 3.87 kills per set. Also named a Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Canadian, the West Division Player of the Year headlines the West Division First-Team All-Stars.
Mikyla Patras (Stony Plain, Alta.) of Seneca Polytechnic is the East Division Player of the Year. The third-year outside hitter is the OCAA Scoring Champion leading the OCAA across nearly every major offensive category. The East Division Scoring Champion averaged 5.0 points per set and 4.21 kills per set in 15 matches, helping guide the Sting to an East Division championship. Also named a CCAA All-Canadian, Patras headlines the East Division First-Team All-Stars.
Hannah Manners (Toronto, Ontario.) of Humber Polytechnic is also a CCAA All-Canadian. The fifth-year right side is one of the top offensive threats in the conference, combining elite production with efficiency. Manners was third overall averaging 4.4 points per set. Manners is also a West Division First-Team All-Star.
Lili Surgenor (Lake Newell, Alta.) of St. Clair is the OCAA Rookie of the Year. The outside hitter has been a starter on the court for almost every single match this season, becoming a block presence on right side for the Saints. The West Division Rookie of the Year headlines the West Division All-Rookie Team.
The East Division Rookie of the Year is Presley MacLeod (Osler, Sask.) of Seneca. The outside hitter led all first-year players in both kills per set (3.27) and total points (173), establishing herself as a primary offensive option for the Sting from Day 1. MacLeod headlines the East Division Second-Team All-Stars and East Division All-Rookie Team.
Kate Grasman of Redeemer University is the OCAA Coach of the Year. In only her second season, Grasman guided the Royals to a 12-4 record, marking the program's first winning season in over a decade and solidifying Redeemer as a legitimate contender in the conference. The West Division Coach of the Year is also the nominee for CCAA Coach of the Year.
Danielle Tamm of Georgian College is the East Division Coach of the Year. After missing the playoffs in the previous two seasons, Tamm has led an impressive turnaround, as the Grizzlies finished with a 9-7 record, even taking a set off undefeated Seneca.
