Today was no different. Niagara came storming out winning the first two sets 25-18 and 25-23.
The Knights were very close in securing the upset early but St. Clair was able to turn the tide earning the third set 27-25. St. Clair carried the momentum into the fourth set with a 25-20 win forcing the fifth and final set.
St. Clair got the upper hand switching sides at 8-5. After some back and forth battles, Niagara slowly gained on the Saints before closing out the match and securing the upset 15-13.
Niagara moves on to play Durham in the semi-finals at 8 p.m. on Saturday. St. Clair will play Cambrian at 3 p.m. on Saturday in the consolation semi-final.
