NORTH BAY, Ont. - To kick off Day 2 of the 2016 OCAA Women's Volleyball Championship on Friday, the Cambrian Golden Shield were up against the Trent Excalibur.
In a 3-1 finish, Cambrian's first set win (25-29) wasn't enough against Trent who swept the next three (25-22, 25-17, 25-19). This advances Trent to the consolation final this Saturday at 12 p.m.
The player of the game for Cambrian was Kelsey Watson with 41 attacks, 10 kills, two service aces and two digs. The player of the game for Trent was Sarah MacLaren with 23 attacks, 15 kills, seven stuffed blocks, three assists and two digs.
