WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's volleyball team won their match at the Sportsplex on Friday night over the Mohawk by a score of 3-0.
Game scores for St. Clair were 25-21, 25-19, and 25-13. The Saints had a solid team effort and were led by Shalena Horst with 11 kills, six services aces, one stuff block and nine digs. Sara Yablonsky had a solid match as well with eight kills, one stuff block and five digs.
The St. Clair women improved to 8-6 on the season while Mohawk fell to 5-9. The Saints are now in fourth place in the OCAA West Division and are currently ranked ninth in Ontario.
The Saints are next in action when they host the Conestoga Condors on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 1 p.m. at the Sportsplex.

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair Saints swept the Mohawk Mountaineers 25-21, 25-19, 25-13, in OCAA women's volleyball in Windsor, Ont., on Friday.
The Mountaineers just couldn't get into any type of rhythm and saw their record drop to 5-9, while St. Clair improved to 8-6.
Mohawk's offensive star was Jasmine Zanussi with seven kills. She also had six digs. Alessandra Assaf had 12 digs to lead the defence.
The Mountaineers hope to get back to winning ways Saturday, when they visit Fanshawe.
