LETHBRIDGE, Ont. - The Garneau Elans swept the Humber College Hawks in straight sets 25-22, 25-20 and 25-21 in the bronze medal semi-final at the 2013 CCAA Women's Volleyball National Championship presented by Viterra.

Hawks in straight sets 25-22, 25-20 and 25-21 in the bronze medal
semi-final at the 2013 CCAA Women's Volleyball National
Championship presented by Viterra.
With Garneau all-Canadian Alyssa Fields-Bouchard held to three
kills (along with four digs, two aces and one block), Alice
Cloutier provided 11 kills and seven digs for Player of the Game
honours.
Laurence Bette led the Elans with 12 digs. Marie–Pier Maheux
was second with nine kills with an equal number of digs plus an ace
and a block.
Humber's all-Canadian Kelly Nyhof was named
Humber's Player of the Game. The 6-foot-2 fourth-year player
contributed 14 kills, two digs and two blocks.
The loss eliminated Humber from medal contention, with an overall
record of 1-2.
The Hawks are the six-time reigning OCAA champions.
