TORONTO - Four more women's soccer elimination matches are set to take place on Saturday in the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association.
At stake is a berth to next week's OCAA championship to be hosted by the top remaining seed.
The OCAA Women's Soccer Championship will take place over a two-day span between Oct. 23-26.
Humber Hawks, Toronto (5-2-3, 3rd West) at Algonquin Wolves, Ottawa (9-1-0, 2nd East)
Saturday, Oct. 18 - 12 p.m.
The Algonquin Wolves successfully defended their home turf on Wednesday with a 4-0 win over the Fanshawe Falcons, their seventh shutout of the season.
Second-year striker and OCAA all-star Alex Aubin (Long Sault) scored a hat trick in the contest.
The Humber Hawks advanced to the quarter-finals with a 6-2 home victory over the Cambrian Shield. It was just the second time Humber gave up two goals in a game this season.
First-year wing Olivia Di Cesare (Vaughan) scored twice for the Hawks.
Redeemer Royals, Ancaster (5-4-1, 4th West) at Seneca Sting, Toronto (10-0-0, 1st East)
Saturday, Oct. 18 - 12 p.m.
The Seneca Sting won an 11th straight match with a 3-1 win at home over the Sheridan Bruins on Wednesday.
All the goals were scored in the opening half. OCAA Player of the Year Bekah Lee (Burlington) assisted on two of Seneca's goals.
The Redeemer Royals won 8-0 at home against the St. Lawrence Sting to earn a return ticket to Seneca. Redeemer played at the OCAA championship on the same turf last season.
Fourth-year midfielder Kendra Sieders (Lynden), who led all Royals players with four regular season goals, scored once and set up two others.
Durham Lords, Oshawa (6-4-0, 4th East) at St. Clair Saints, Windsor (7-0-3, 1st West)
Saturday, Oct. 18 - 1 p.m.
The St. Clair Saints overwhelmed the Loyalist Lancers 10-0 on Wednesday and are now one victory away from playing for an OCAA championship on home turf.
Third-year forward Victoria Walsh (Georgetown), the West Division Player of the Year, scored four goals in the contest.
The Durham Lords shut out the Conestoga Condors at home 4-0 to earn an opportunity for green and gold bragging rights.
Fourth-year striker and OCAA all-star Sage Thomas-Roberts (Toronto) netted three goals in the victory.
Centennial Colts, Toronto (8-2-0, 3rd East) at Niagara Knights (7-0-3, 2nd West)
Saturday, Oct. 18 - 6 p.m.
The Niagara Knights continued their unbeaten string on Wednesday with a 4-0 victory over the Lakehead Orillia Thunderwolves in the qualifying round.
First-year midfielder Mariana Orozco (Thorold) has scored five goals in Niagara's past two matches, including three against the Thunderwolves.
The Centennial Colts blanked the Mohawk Mountaineers 3-0 at home in their first post-season match.
Centennial third-year forward Mylie Decoff (Burlington) was among the OCAA leaders with 16 goals during the regular season, but held off the scoresheet against Mohawk.
