A single-division format will remain for 2026 with teams playing a double round robin format totalling 14 regular season matches each. The Georgian Grizzlies are a new entry into the league and will make their OCAA debut this September.
Women's rugby sevens has a unique structure where matches will be played on six separate days at single locations. The matches on Sept. 19 will be hosted by the Loyalist Lancers and Seneca Sting; the Fleming Phoenix will host all teams Oct. 3-4; Loyalist and Georgian will share duties on Oct. 17; and the Durham Lords will host the entire league Oct. 24-25 to conclude the regular season.
A rematch of last season's OCAA gold medal match between four-time defending champion Durham and runner-up Humber will take place Oct. 3 in Peterborough.
A total 56 matches will be played over the six competition dates in 2026. The top six teams at the conclusion of the regular season - including the host Humber Hawks - move on to the OCAA championship. If Humber finishes in seventh or eighth place, it will replace the sixth seed.
The top two teams advance directly to the OCAA semi-finals, while the remaining four play in the quarter-finals, with the two winners advancing. All championship matches will take place on Nov. 7 in Brampton.
All OCAA schedules for the 2026-27 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.
