A single-division format will remain for 2025 with teams playing a double round robin format totalling 14 regular season matches each.
Women's rugby sevens has a unique structure where matches will be played on four separate weekends at single locations. The matches on Sept. 13 will be hosted by the Loyalist Lancers (Belleville) and Seneca Sting (North York); the Durham Lords (Oshawa) will host all teams Sept. 20-21; the Humber Hawks (Etobicoke) will host the entire league Oct. 4-5; and the Algonquin Wolves (Ottawa) and Fleming Phoenix (Peterborough) will share duties on Oct. 18 to conclude the regular season.
Durham has won a record three straight OCAA championships. A rematch of last season's gold medal match against St. Lawrence will take place Sept. 13 at Loyalist and again Oct. 18 at Algonquin.
A total 56 matches will be played over the six competition dates in 2024. All eight teams move on to the OCAA championship hosted by the Conestoga Condors (Kitchener). The quarter-final match-ups will be based according to the regular season final standings (1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, etc.) with winners advancing to the semi-finals, then gold medal match. All championship matches will take place on Oct. 25 at the Fountain Street Soccer Complex in Cambridge.
