ST. LAWRENCE (K) 24, ALGONQUIN 7 (FINAL)

The St. Lawrence College Vikings women's rugby team is in first place in the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association East division, after a 24-7 win over Algonquin College Thunder in Kingston on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

The win improved the Vikings' record to 2-0-1 on the year.

They opened their season with a 20-12 win over Loyalist on September 24 and tied Fleming 15-15 on October 1.

The loss was Algonquin's first of the year. The Thunder are now 2-1-0.

The Vikings women's rugby team's next game is October 15 at Loyalist. They next play at home on October 22 when they host Fleming at 3 p.m.
