SUDBURY, Ont. - The Georgian Grizzlies women's basketball team had a tough road trip to Sudbury on Sunday afternoon falling to the Cambrian Golden Shield 60-33 in Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) play.
The Grizzlies were unable to find their scoring touch all afternoon shooting at only a 14 percent rate from the field.
Agnes Bartosik put up a double-double for the Grizzlies scoring 11 points along with 12 rebounds. Kara Faulkner scored eight points while Mackenzie Merkley had six in the loss.
Trish Taylor led the way for Cambrian scoring a team-high 14 points.
The Grizzlies next home game is this coming Friday, November 16 when they host the Algonquin Thunder at 6 p.m.
