WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College men's volleyball team dropped a close match on Sunday afternoon in their final home game of the semester. In an exciting back and forth game the Saints lost to the Humber Hawks by a score of 3-2.
Game scores for Humber were 25-23, 23-25, 25-23, 20-25 and 15-8. Setter Joey Laporte spread the ball around well the entire match with four Saints players having at least six kills.
Manik Jandoria led the way for St. Clair with seven kills, three stuff blocks, two service aces and eight digs. Michael Knight has a strong game as well with six kills, three stuff blocks and seven digs. Laporte also chipped in with a kill, four service aces, two stuff blocks, 15 digs and 24 assists.
With the loss St. Clair's record fell to 2-5 on the season while Humber improved to 5-2. St. Clair is next in action when it travels to Conestoga on Sunday, Nov. 29 to take on the Condors.
