OAKVILLE, Ont. - Last Wednesday night, the Fanshawe men's volleyball team defeated Sheridan College (7-11) in four sets (25-18, 25-14, 22-25, 25-11).
With the win, Fanshawe secured a bye right into the OCAA provincial championship starting on Thursday, Feb. 20 at Georgian College.
Fanshawe will open up the OCAA championship in a quarter-final match up against the George Brown Huskies at 1 p.m.
The Huskies finished in third place in the OCAA East Division this year and are second in the OCAA in kills per set.
