ETOBICOKE, Ont. - The Humber Hawks men's volleyball team extended their regular season record to 2-0 as they knocked off London's Fanshawe College in a matinee Saturday at the Humber Athletic Centre.
The Hawks took the first two sets, in which Humber was in command throughout. The second set, which featured a different starting seven for the home side, were unable to put the Falcons away. The fourth set was never in doubt as Humber won the set and took the match 3 sets to 1.
Hawk star Andre Brown left the match in the first set with a hand injury. He did not return.
Terrel Bramwell brought his usual explosive game as he led both teams in scoring. For his efforts he was named the Humber Player of the Game.
Humber will play two games on home court next weekend, with the Canadore Panthers here on Saturday, and the Nipissing Lakers visiting on Sunday afternoon.
