The regular season schedule will feature a two-division format, with teams playing a single round robin within their division, plus two additional games for 10 total matches each. Overall, 90 regular season matches will be played between Sept. 5 and Oct. 12.
The Humber Hawks are the reigning OCAA and national champions and will begin their quest for a repeat on Sept. 5 when they travel west to take on the St. Clair Saints.
The Algonquin Wolves were Humber's opponents in both of last season's conference and national gold medal matches, and will also begin their season on the road against the Durham Lords on Sept. 5.
A new program will enter the OCAA this season with the Lakehead (Orillia) Thunderwolves making their debut Sept. 5 when they visit the Cambrian Shield in Sudbury. Lakehead plays its first match at home Sept. 7 against the Centennial Colts.
Six matches will take place on opening day on Sept. 5, including the St. Lawrence Surge visiting the Fleming Phoenix; the George Brown Huskies traveling to the Seneca Sting; and the Redeemer Royals challenging the Niagara Knights.
Five other teams will make their season debuts on Sept. 6, as the Conestoga Condors visit the Fanshawe Falcons, the Sheridan Bruins entertain the Mohawk Mountaineers and the Lambton Lions hosting Humber. Centennial will wait one more day to make its debut against Lakehead.
The top eight teams in each division qualify for the post-season. The first round will consist of interdivisional play based according to seeding (1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, etc.) as East faces West on Oct. 15. The winning teams advance to the quarter-finals on Oct. 18, with the final four advancing to the OCAA championship.
The OCAA championship will consist of back-to-back days of semi-finals and medal matches from Oct. 24-25 or 25-26 at the home of the highest remaining seed. In the event of a tie between the top seeds (eg. No. 1 East and West), the East team will host the championship.
The OCAA champion and runner-up will advance to the 2025 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Soccer Championship in Saint-Lambert, Que., from Nov. 5-8.
All OCAA schedules for the 2025-26 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.
