WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College men's soccer team stretched their winning streak to three games by defeating the Mohawk Mountaineers 1-0 on Friday afternoon at the Main Campus Field on a cold and very windy day.
The lone goal was scored in the 70th minute on a penalty kick by Jordan Lidia. It was Lidia's OCAA league-leading eighth goal of the season in five games. Justin Danelon was solid in net making a few key saves to earn the shutout and win.
The Saints are now 3-1-1 on the season and in second place in the OCAA West Division. St. Clair is currently ranked fifth in Ontario.
St. Clair is next in action on Sunday when they host the Conestoga Condors at 3 p.m. at the Main Campus Field. Conestoga is currently 0-4-1 on the season. St. Clair defeated the Condors 3-2 on Sept. 19 in Kitchener, Ont.

WINDSOR, Ont. - The Mohawk men's and women's soccer teams were both defeated at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ont., on Friday.
The Saints doubled the Mountaineers 4-2 in women's action.
Rachelle DeJong (Guido de Bres) and Gabrielle Krebs (Brebeuf) were the scorers for Mohawk.
The Saints improved to 5-0, while Mohawk slipped to 2-3.
The Mountaineer men had their record fall to 1-3-1, losing 1-0 to St. Clair (3-1-1).
Both Mohawk teams move on to Sarnia, Ont., on Saturday afternoon to face the Lambton Lions.
