OSHAWA, Ont. – It was a tough afternoon for the Durham College men's soccer team at Vaso's Field on Saturday as they fell 6-0 to the provincially ranked Algonquin Thunder.
Algonquin set the tone early in the game by scoring in the opening minute. Although the Lords managed to regroup after the early setback, Algonquin would strike again at the 27 minute mark to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
Durham could not turn things around in the second frame as Algonquin would score four more times to win by a final score of 6-0.
