MOHAWK 35, FLEMING (P) 33 (FINAL)

Mohawk Mountaineers have advanced to the playoffs in OCAA Division I rugby. Mohawk shaded the Fleming Knights of Peterborough 35-33 in their qualifying game at Mohawk Sports Park Saturday afternoon (Oct. 29)
 
The game was in stark contrast to their regular season meeting when the Mountaineers eeked out an 8-5 verdict.
 
This time, Graham McKelvey scored two tries for the Mountaineers, while Ross Isbister, Cody Taylor and  Riley Cronsberry had one apiece.
 
Joel Clarke kicked two penalties and two converts for 10 points.
 
Replying for the Knights were David Beukeboom, Brendan McDougall, Cameron Watson, Michel Braiden and Chris Tomas. Ian Fuchs contributed four converts.
