LOFTHOUSE, DARLINGTON NAMED OCAA RUGBY ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

TORONTO - The following have been named Ontario Colleges
Athletic Association (OCAA) rugby student-athletes of the week for
the period ending Sunday, Oct. 16.
MALE: Jesse Lofthouse, Seneca
Jesse Lofthouse scored a pair of tries in Seneca's
29-15 win over Humber on Oct. 13 in a battle of unbeaten clubs.
With the win, Seneca (4-0-0) clinches first place in OCAA Division
I men's rugby with one regular season match to go. Seneca earns a
bye and home field advantage throughout the OCAA post-season.
Seneca has not won an OCAA men's rugby championship since
2005-06.
FEMALE: Dana Darlington, St. Lawrence-Kingston
Dana Darlington scored a pair of tries in the St.
Lawrence Vikings 20-5 win over Loyalist on Oct. 15. The win
propelled St. Lawrence (3-0-1) to first place in the OCAA East
region. Darlington has scored five tries during the regular season,
scoring at least one try in each of her four matches. The Vikings
are one of two unbeaten teams in OCAA women's rugby.
