ETOBICOKE, Ont. - The Fanshawe Falcons (3-1) lost their first game of the regular season 79-61 to the Humber Hawks (4-1). Fanshawe now sits in fourth place in the OCAA West Division.
In Wednesday's battle with the Humber Hawks, Fanshawe found themselves down early, trailing 22-13 after the first quarter.
Fanshawe's front court was in early foul trouble, which allowed Humber to get into the paint without much contest.
Fanshawe's Alex Thompson was the team's high scorer with 13 points.
The Falcons have a huge match this Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. in Brampton, Ont., versus the No. 1-ranked Sheridan Bruins. Sheridan is the only undefeated team in the OCAA West Division and has four players all averaging double-digits in scoring.
