Algoma (10-3) defeated St. Clair (2-11) by a score of 97-47.
Algoma struck early and often and quickly built a 20 point advantage after the first quarter. They increased their lead going into half-time at 48-18 and St. Clair never recovered shooting a miserable 34% from the field and were doubled up on the boards for the game.
St. Clair was led by Alex Temesy (Amherstburg/General Amherst) who scored 15 points. Eli Hesley (Windsor/Riverside), Stephan Gray (Milton) and Anthony DeRose (Belle River/St. Anne) all reached double figures scoring 10 points for the Saints. DeRose added 7 rebounds while Gray added 4 steals.
Algoma's Reynaldo Carnakie scored 21 points to lead his team to victory.
