PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – Durham College picked up their second straight win as they defeated the Fleming Knights 87-78 in OCAA men's basketball action.
Fleming's Max Clarkson and Durham's Rob Gagliardi (Whitby, Ont.) went toe-to-toe all night long as they scored 33 and 31 points respectively. However, Gagliardi had the last laugh as Durham picked up the nine point road victory.
This was Gagliardi's third straight game scoring 30 points or more. He leads all scorers in the OCAA averaging 26 points per game.
Kevin Honig and Christoff Pierre also had standout games for Durham scoring 16 and 15 points respectively. Pierre has averaged 16 points in the Lords last two wins.
Heading into the game, Durham had the best FG and 3FG shooting percentage.
Durham is 4-3 this season and are tied with the Knights (4-3) for fourth place in the conference standings.
Durham will take on St. Lawrence (3-4) on the road this week before heading home on Friday, December 2 against George Brown (4-2). Game time at the CRWC is 8 p.m.
