OCAA NAMES MAJOR GOLF AWARDS WINNERS

TORONTO - The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) is proud to announce its major golf award recipients for 2025.
Kevin Corriveau of the St. Clair Saints has been named OCAA Coach of the Year for the third straight season. A long-time member of the OCAA coaching fraternity, Corriveau led the Saints men's and women's teams to silver medals at the recent OCAA championships. Corriveau is the OCAA nominee for the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Coach of the Year, winning the award last year.
Kailey Cromwell (Brantford) of the Fanshawe Falcons and Owen Mailhot (Whitby) of the Durham Lords were the Top Rookies at the recent OCAA championships. Cromwell was Fanshawe's top women's golfer, finishing in seventh place with three identical rounds of 91. Mailhot was Durham's top men's golfer, finishing two strokes off the podium in fourth place, shooting four-over par.
Georgian's Ty Turner (Kamloops, B.C.) was named the OCAA Fair Play Award winner for displaying a terrific attitude throughout the championship.
Members of the men's OCAA All-Ontario Team are based on the top five individual scorers from the OCAA championships. They include champion Nathan Lepore (Thunder Bay) of Confederation; Jack Gratrix (Sunderland) of Humber; Matthew Morris (St. Catharines) of Humber; Durham's Mailhot; and Nathan White (Riverside) of St. Clair.
Members of the women's OCAA All-Ontario Team are based on the top four individual scorers from the OCAA championships, including ties. They include champion Susan Chen (Zhengzhou, China) of Humber; Jordon Newlands (Toronto) of Humber; Justine Gorham (Amherstburg) of St. Clair; Ava Bechard (Mississauga) of Humber; and Bryden Dilley (Barrie) of Georgian.
