KENNEDY WINS HIS SECOND OCAA TUNE-UP TOURNAMENT
Seneca’s Mitchel Kennedy won his second tournament in 10 days on Wednesday, shooting a four-under 68 for a three-stoke victory at the Niagara College Golf Fall Classic held at Hunters Pointe Golf Course in Welland, Ont.

Kennedy previously won the Fleming Invitational on September 17.
Durham's Tyson Wetherup was the only other golfer
to break par at Hunters Pointe with a round of 71, while Niagara's
Robbie Ellis and Humber teammates Nicolas
Forth and Mark Nagy all shot 73.
Humber narrowly took the men's team title with a total score of
297, one stroke better than Seneca. Durham finished in third place
with a score of 304.
Defending OCAA women's individual champion Tiffany
Albath was the top female, shooting an 83. She combined
with Stephanie Mole to give Durham the women's
team title with a total score of 174.
Georgian's Alyssa DeFoe and St. Clair's
Ashley Unrau finished in second place with rounds
of 88. Mole and Jordan Schatz of St. Clair both
shot 91 to place third. St. Clair finished in second place in the
team standings with a score of 179, followed by Georgian's 187.
Student golfers have one final warm-up tournament on Friday hosted
by Durham prior to the OCAA Golf Championships which take place
beginning Monday, hosted by St. Clair at the Roseland Golf and
Curling Club in Windsor, Ont.
