DURHAM COLLEGE'S TIFFANY ALBATH FINISHES IN FIFTH PLACE AT NATIONALS
ASHBURN, Ont. – Tiffany Albath of the Durham College women’s golf team finished in fifth place at the 2011 Canadian University/College golf championship hosted by the Royal Ashburn Golf Club in Ashburn, Ont.
ASHBURN, Ont. – Tiffany Albath of the
Durham College women's golf team finished in fifth place at the
2011 Canadian University/College golf championship hosted by the
Royal Ashburn Golf Club in Ashburn, Ont.
Albath shot her best round of the tournament finishing with a +5
(77) to card a four-day total of 321. She finished tied with Devon
Rizzo (Waterloo) and Casey Ward (Queen's).
For finishing in the top five at the national championship, Albath
earned All-Canadian status which was presented by the Post
Secondary Golf Coaches Association (PSGCA).
Albath and Kayleigh Kraemer were the first Durham
College women's golfers to participate in the national
championship.
