HAMILTON, Ont. - The St. Clair Saints moved into first place in OCAA women's softball, one game ahead of Fanshawe, following a pair of shutout wins over the Mohawk Mountaineers on Sunday.
The Saints coasted in the opener, 12-0 in five innings. Michaela Rilett went 3-for-3 with four RBI to lead the visitors to Mohawk Sports Park.
Alexa Georgiou was the winning pitcher, while Nikki Grover lost.
In Game 2, Skyler Patteson's two run single keyed a four run sixth inning as St. Clair won 4-0. Allison Telfer beat Aimee Leduc.
St. Clair upped its record to 17-5, while Mohawk dropped to 7-15.
