The Humber Hawks moved into sole possession of first place in OCAA women's fastball, with a 14-5 romp over the Mohawk Mountaineers at Mohawk Sports Park Tuesday (Oct. 9).
Jacqueline O'Quinn handcuffed the home side with a four hitter and got three RBI support from both sister Jessica O'Quinn and Shelby Robblee. Humber got off to a very quick start leading 10-0 after two and a half innings. They scored two runs in the first inning and four runs in each of the second and third frames.
Jessica Entwistle was the losing pitcher for Mohawk. Stephanie Accomando led the Mountaineers with two RBI's and a run scord. Humber is now 10-2 on the season and Mohawk is 0-12.
