The Conestoga Condors of Kitchener doubled up the Mohawk Mountaineers 4-2 in OCAA women's fastball at Mohawk Sports Park Tuesday (Oct. 2).
Once again Mohawk's bats were pretty silent, as the visitors limited the Mountaineers to just five hits and struck out 11, as Mohawk saw it's record drop to 0-10, while Conestoga improved to 4-6.
Jessica Denstedt was the losing pitcher. One bright spot was the continued improved play of the Mohawk defense, as it played an errorless game.
Offensively, Amber Silversmith went 2-for-3, while Nicole Leitch, Lindsay Rivet and Tina Ratajczak each had one hit.
