HUMBER 12, SENECA 1
In the second game of the double header, the story was the same as the first. Humber got their bats working after a scoreless first to put an eight-spot on pitcher Liz Curley.
With the bases loaded, Jacquiline O'Quinn hit a sacrifice to give the Hawks the lead. Bardey would give the Hawks a 3-0 lead with an RBI triple on a liner to right centre. The lead became four when Jess O'Quinn hit a single through the middle. After a single to left and blooper single to centre, Humber would complete the scoring in the second with a hard drive to left field.
Seneca would add a run in the bottom of the fourth on an RBI single by Brooke Wettlaufer to score Isabelle Angers-Barber. Angers-Barber was pinch running for Chiarotto who previously reached on a fielder's choice.
Seneca (2-7) gets back in action on Tuesday as they host the Durham Lords (6-1) at 7 p.m. while Humber (7-2) will travel to Mohawk (0-10), also on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
