The St. Clair College women's fastball team is now riding a seven-game winning streak after dropping Seneca (North York) today at the campus diamond by a score of 3-1.
The Saints picked up a pair of wins Saturday in Kitchener defeating Conestoga 12-1 and 6-4.
Pitcher Alexa Georgiou (Windsor, Ont.) picked up third win of the weekend Sunday and now sports a 5-0 record and a sparkling 1.14 ERA on the season. Saints outfielder Lisa Ternosky (Windsor, Ont.) was 2-for-3 at the plate adding an RBI to lead the Saints at the plate. Catcher Cortnee Burgess (Windsor, Ont.) also had a pair of hits and a key RBI to help St. Clair to the victory.
The Saints now go on the road to Hamilton to face Mohawk College Thursday evening before the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. They next come home Oct. 13 versus OCAA leading Durham College for a doubleheader (12 p.m. and 2 p.m.) and complete their regular season schedule October 14 versus Humber College in a single game at 12 p.m.
