TORONTO - Durham College of Oshawa, Ont., had three big innings on the way to pounding the George Brown Huskies 12-2 in an Ontario Colleges Athletic Association baseball game at Wishing Well Park in Scarborough, Ont.
Durham, with only its second win in five games, scored three times in the fourth, added four more in the fifth and three in the seventh to pile up the win with pitcher Emilio Paglia getting tagged with the loss. The Huskies are now 0-5 with a pair of doubleheaders against Humber College set for this Friday and Sunday.
David Allison-Yoshida and Paglia did score runs for George Brown, but the Huskies were missing their bats and held to five hits. Andrew Murrell, who leads the OCAA with a batting average of .636, kept his five-game hitting streak alive going 1-for-3 with a single.

TORONTO - The Durham College men's baseball team had their most complete game of the season on Wednesday night as they picked up a 12-2 road victory over the George Brown Huskies.
Ilija Bozinovski (Ajax, Ont.) pitched the complete game for Durham as he allowed two runs, one of which was unearned, on six Husky hits. The right-handed pitcher had great control and pitch selection on the night as he struck out six batters and only walked two. This was Bozinovski's second conference win in as many starts.
Offensively, Durham was firing on all cylinders as they combined for 10 runs over the final four innings to put the game to rest. The Lords recorded 12 hits in the win, four of which were off the bat of Spencer Green (Mallorytown, Ont.) who went 4-for-5 with four RBI and two runs scored. Aaron McQuillen (Ajax, Ont.) also had a big night at the plate going 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored.
The Lords sit at 2-3 to start the season and will look to knock off the St. Clair Saints in their home opener on Saturday afternoon at Kinsmen Memorial Stadium. St. Clair is 9-0 to start the season which includes two victories over Durham in Windsor, Ont.
