Joshua Vivero had an excellent birthday on Sept. 5, netting three goals while assisting on another in a 7-1 victory for the Cambrian Shield over the Lakehead Orillia Thunderwolves. The third-year striker opened the scoring at the five-minute mark, then after the Thunderwolves recorded the equalizer, scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal in the 21st minute. Vivero added one more to end the scoring in the second half, no doubt kicking off a post-match celebration. Vivero scored seven goals last season, and is on pace to surpass this mark.
