Teyven Blackmore took things up a notch on Feb. 21 as the Humber Hawks hosted the Canadore Panthers in the OCAA quarter-finals. The fifth-year outside hitter recorded 26 kills on an incredible .658 swing percentage, adding three service aces for a 29-point effort as the Hawks won in straight sets. The match was much closer than the sweep indicated with the first set going to Humber 32-30, and the other two just as competitive. It capped off a great week for Teyven after being named OCAA Player of the Year for the second straight season.
