OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's basketball team earned their second win in as many days as they defeated the Cambrian Golden Shield 67-42 at the CRWC.
For the fifth straight game, Christoff Pierre was the Lords leading scorer as he had 16 points in the win. Pierre led the Lords to victory on Friday night as well, as he had a season high 35 point performance in a win over St. Lawrence.
Durham guard Tristan Francisco had 11 points off the bench while Tyler McGarrity had nine points and eight rebounds.
Durham's defence held Cambrian to just 42 points and forced 25 turnovers.
Durham is 11-8 on the year and move into a tie with the St. Lawrence Vikings for third place in the OCAA East Region.
The Lords will take on the Seneca Sting (8-11) on Wednesday night for their final game of the regular season. First tip at the CRWC for seniors night is at 8 p.m.
