NORTH YORK, Ont. – Durham College ended their four-game road swing on a high note Friday night as they defeated the Seneca Sting 76-71 in North York.
Byron Wabano (Moosonee, Ont.) was one rebound shy of a double-double as he scored 12 points and added nine rebounds. The Lords big man also had two blocks in the win.
Leading both teams in scoring was Durham's Rob Gagliardi (Whitby, Ont.) who finished the night with 28 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Durham is 2-2 to start the season while the Sting dropped their third straight decision, falling to 1-3.
The Lords will have an exhibition game on the road this Saturday against Hilbert College before returning home on Friday, November 18 for their opener against Algonquin College. Tip-off at the CRWC is at 8 p.m.
