ETOBICOKE, Ont - Top-ranked Humber established a new OCAA record Wednesday evening, defeating UTM (2-6, 9th West), 94-54, at the North Campus Gym.

The win was Humber's 68th consecutive regular and postseason conference victory, breaking the mark of 67 established by head coach John MacInnis and the Algonquin Thunder from November, 2011 to January, 2015. The Hawks matched that mark with a 28-point win over No. 15 Fanshawe last Sunday.

The three-time defending provincial champion Hawks haven't lost an OCAA game since falling at St. Clair on Nov. 8, 2014.

"For 68 games, we've had one shot at winning, and we've done it," Humber head coach Ajay Sharma said. "You don't get it done; you start all over. I'm proud of the fact we've been able to do it. It's quite remarkable when you think about it."

Four players finished in double figures for Humber, as the Hawks scored the first 17 points of the game in the opening four minutes.

With a 31-point lead at the half, Humber shot 17-of-33 (51.5 per cent) from the floor in the final 20 minutes to cruise to the 94-54 victory.

Ceejay Nofuente paced the way for Humber with a quadruple-double, finishing with 15 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists, and 11 steals. Aleena Domingo finished with a game-high 22 points and added 10 rebounds, while Felicia Velasquez and Miea Campbell-Johnson recorded 11 points each.
