LONDON, Ont. - It was a wild one in OCAA men's basketball, with Fanshawe outlasting Mohawk 100-92 on Friday in London, Ont.

The Mountaineers came back from 17 points down in the third quarter and had a five-point lead with five minutes to go, but couldn't seal the deal. They seemed to run out of gas after digging themselves out of the hole they created.

Mat Elcock had 23 points for Mohawk. Mohamed Gaafer scored 14, as did Lamar Barr, who also had nine rebounds. Kareem Collins scored 11 points.

Moses Orozco-Rayo paced Fanshawe with 18 points. Connor Therrien and Alfred Johnson each had 12 for the winners.

Mohawk dropped to 4-3 while Fanshawe improved to 5-3.
